Howdy! My name is Laynie Kay Parker and I am blessed to be your 2016 Larimer County Fair and Rodeo Queen. Kaitlyn and I are looking forward to traveling across Colorado promoting Larimer County and the great sport of Rodeo.

I am the 19-year-old daughter of John and Letricia Parker and call the Sweetheart City of Loveland home. I am a freshman at the University of Northern Colorado where I am pursuing a Nursing Degree and have ambitions to work in the Emergency Room. My sisters and I enjoy spending time with our American Quarter Horses, Pepsi and Duke, and helping out on our grandparent’s farm. I have been privileged to grow up with a deep appreciation for the hardworking men and women in agriculture and count my blessings to be a part of this extraordinary lifestyle. I was a 12-year member of 4-H and participated in many projects as well as being a Cloverbud leader. I credit 4-H with developing my work ethic and cannot wait to support the 4-H members throughout this next year.

Thank you to the Larimer County Fair Board and the many kind-hearted sponsors of the Larimer County Royalty Program. Without the generous support of our sponsors, we would not have the opportunities we have been afforded this year. I also would like to thank Kaitlyn and her family for always lending a helping hand and keeping the Parker family laughing. I look forward to seeing you at The Ranch in Loveland for the Larimer County Fair and Rodeo!

Hi, I'm Kaitlyn Carson and I'm excited to be your 2016 Larimer County Fair and Rodeo Lady-in-Waiting. I am 16 years old and the daughter Leisa and Kenley Carson and have an older brother and younger sister. I was born and raised in Fort Collins where I have been an active 4-H member in the Bits N Pieces club since I was 5 years old. I enjoy showing horses and dogs along with my many sewing projects at the county fair. My passion is dance and I have been dancing all of my life. I have been coaching the Flamingos 4-H dance team for 4 years and love it! Outside of 4-H I am a member of the track team, teach dance and am actively involved as an officer in the Windsor FFA chapter. I enjoy participating in public speaking contests and look forward to using this opportunity to represent Larimer County and the western way of life.
